AirMaxPro 158 XL construction dryer
We recommend the AirMaxPro 158 XL construction dryer for professional indoor use.
The AirMaxPro 158 XL has been designed for a wide range of environmental conditions.
Thanks to its high dehumidification performance of up to 158 litres per day, it is also suitable for larger rooms with an area of up to 100 m². The possible application temperature is between 5°C and 35°C and the permissible relative humidity is between 30% and 80%.
The control element installed in the AirMaxPro 158 XL is characterised by its simplicity and user-friendliness.
Thanks to the environmentally friendly refrigerant propane (R 290) and an impressive air circulation rate of 1200 m³/h, the AirMaxPro 158 XL works very efficiently and reliably. Its freezing pressure of 0.8 MPa and vapour pressure of 2.8 MPa optimise performance.
Additional safety is provided by functions such as automatic fault diagnosis and automatic switch-off.
The AirMaxPro 158 XL is equipped with a T3 15 A fuse and has a sound power level of 55 to 60 dB(A), making it well suited for indoor use.
Despite its high dehumidification performance, the AirMaxPro 158 XL has compact dimensions and weighs just 50 kg.
The AirMaxPro 158 XL is equipped with a condensate pump that automatically pumps the water produced during dehumidification into a drainage pipe or an appropriately sized collection container. This enables continuous and convenient operation of the AirMaxPro 158 XL.
Note:
Our AirMaxPro 158 XL construction dryer is supplied with a condensate hose with a length of 1 m, an inner diameter of 6 mm and an outer diameter of 8 mm. If required, this hose can be extended to up to 20 m for a maximum delivery head of 2 m or replaced with another hose.
Refrigerant:
The use of the refrigerant propane (R 290) in our construction dryers offers various ecological, economic and technical advantages:
Environmental friendliness: propane is characterised by a low global warming potential, making it a more environmentally friendly alternative to many traditional refrigerants. It contributes less to global warming and has minimal ozone depletion potential, meaning it is less damaging to the ozone layer than traditional refrigerants.
Efficiency: Propane is known for its high cooling capacity and energy efficiency. Construction dryers that run on propane can therefore work very effectively, which not only improves dehumidification performance but also reduces operating costs.
Technical advantages: Propane is a versatile refrigerant that can be used in a variety of applications. It has a high evaporation temperature and high pressure, making it suitable for applications that require high operating temperatures.
Building dryers in the trades: how they solve moisture problems quickly and effectively
Building dryers are an indispensable tool in the trades, especially when refurbishing and renovating buildings. When it comes to removing moisture from a room or building, a building dryer is the best tool for the job.
A building dryer is a device that draws air through a filter and then passes it through a cooling system, which in turn removes the moisture from the air. The dry air is then returned to the room, reducing the humidity in the room. Most construction dryers are portable and can be easily transported from one room to another, making them ideal for use in the trades.
There are many reasons why a tradesman should use a construction dryer. One of the most common reasons is to dry rooms after a flood or water damage. In such cases, moisture can quickly penetrate walls, floors and ceilings and cause serious damage. A building dryer can help to remove this moisture quickly before it causes permanent damage.
Another reason why tradesmen use construction dryers is to prepare surfaces for painting or plastering work. A damp surface can result in paint or plaster not adhering properly. By using a construction dryer, the moisture can be removed from the surface so that the paint or plaster adheres better and a smoother result is achieved.
Building dryers are essential for any tradesperson who has to deal with moisture problems in buildings. Whether renovating old buildings or repairing water damage, a construction dryer can solve the problem quickly and effectively and ensure a smooth construction or renovation process.
Monitoring the operating hours
In modern construction dryers such as the AirMax Pro series, monitoring the operating hours is essential. The digital operating hours counter records and stores this data, which is particularly important for the following aspects:
- Documentation of running time: accurate recording of operating hours enables precise planning of maintenance work to maximise the efficiency and service life of the construction dryers.
- Insurance billing: Insurance companies often require precise documentation of operating hours. The digital operating hours counter makes it easier to fulfil these requirements and ensures fast and accurate claims settlement.
- Cost control and billing: When renting AirMax Pro construction dryers, the operating hours recording serves as the basis for fair and transparent billing of usage fees.
By using the digital operating hours counter in the AirMax Pro series, users benefit from increased transparency and control, which contributes to the optimisation of operating costs and compliance with maintenance intervals.
5 important tips for safe and effective use
When using construction dryers, there are a few important things to bear in mind to ensure optimum performance and safety:
Room temperature: construction dryers should be used at room temperatures between 5 and 32 degrees Celsius to ensure optimum performance. At lower temperatures, the efficiency of the appliance may be impaired.
Ventilation: Windows and doors should be closed during dehumidification.
Maintenance: Construction dryers require regular maintenance to ensure optimum performance. Maintenance essentially involves regularly cleaning the air filters and checking for dirt or damage.
Safety: Construction dryers must be used safely to avoid fires or other hazards. This means that the appliance must not be operated in the vicinity of flammable materials, the air to be dehumidified must not contain solvents or other hazardous substances and the manufacturer's operating instructions must be followed exactly.
Duration: Construction dryers should not be used permanently, as very dry air can lead to health problems. It is therefore important to only use the appliance for the time required and then switch it off or remove it.
If tradespeople take these factors into account, they can ensure that they use their construction dryers effectively and safely to solve moisture problems in buildings.
