Soft-impact core drill DKS-162/DC-H for wet and dry operation
With an impressive output of 2200 watts at a voltage of 230 volts and a current of 10 amps, the DKS-162/DC-H diamond core drill is a powerful tool for precise drilling in concrete, stone and masonry in both wet and dry cutting. The device weighs 6.5 kg and is light and easy to handle despite its strength and power. The frequency of the device is 50-60 Hz.
In terms of maximum drilling diameter, the DKS-162/DC-H offers various options depending on the application. Without the stand, the diameter is 162 mm in first gear and 76 mm in second gear. With the stand, the diameter increases to 202 mm in first gear and 102 mm in second gear. The idle speeds vary between 640 and 1420 revolutions per minute, while the impact frequency is 15360 BPM in first gear and 34080 BPM in second gear. The machine has a 1 1/4" UNC & G1/2" spindle thread and is compatible with the KBS-252/M-PRO core drill rig.
An outstanding feature of the DKS-162/DC-H is its mechanical 2-speed oil bath gearbox, which enables optimum performance. The switch for the two gears can be locked and offers flexibility for different applications. An adjustment ring soft impact function facilitates drilling, while the quick-change system enables connection to water connections or hoovers.
The indicator LEDs on the machine provide clear information about the operating status and are coloured red and amber.
The DKS-162/DC-H can be used both in manual mode and with a core drill rig. The use of a Ø 60 mm clamp holder is required when mounting with a stand.
With the appropriate core bits, the machine is designed for wet and dry-cut drilling in concrete, stone and masonry. The soft impact function makes drilling easier, but it is important to choose the right drill bit.
The DKS-162/DC-H can be operated either with the soft-impact function or in normal drilling mode. The drive spindle has a 1 1/4" UNC external thread and a G1/2" internal thread, which offers a wide range of possible applications.
