The sanding disc can be mounted on all floor sanding machines with a working width of 250 mm. The high-speed rotation removes the surface evenly. It is important to measure and know the concrete hardness before use in order to select the correct diamond sanding disc. Our sanding discs with a grit size of 30 are suitable for general use. Depending on the hardness of the concrete, you can choose between sanding discs for soft, medium-hard or hard floors. The diamond sanding disc for soft floors has been specially developed for concrete floors with a compressive strength class of up to C30. It enables fast and efficient material removal and optimally prepares the surface for subsequent grinding and polishing work. After sanding with sanding discs, you can choose from our range of diamond sanding pads. There you will find sanding pads with a grit size of 50 to 1500, which you can use for step-by-step fine sanding through to a polished surface.
Classification
Concrete is classified according to its compressive strength. Up to a compressive strength class of C50/60, it is classified as hard concrete. With a compressive strength class of C40, you are in the area of medium-hard concrete and with C30 you are more in the area of soft concrete. This classification helps when selecting the right diamond grinding disc, as different types of concrete place different demands on the grinding tool.
