Precise centre points for core drills - perfect drilling aid for diamond core bits
Optimise your drilling work with our specially developed centring tips, which provide a precise and safe drilling aid for diamond core bits. Thanks to their working length, which is precisely matched to the drill bit, they enable a stable drilling start and ensure reliable guidance during the entire drilling process.
Our centre points are available in three different lengths and are optimally matched to the working lengths of the most common diamond core bits:
- For diamond core bits with a working length of 300 mm: The centre point has an overall length of 364±1 mm.
- For diamond core bits with a working length of 400 mm: The centre point has an overall length of 465±1 mm.
- For diamond core bits with a working length of 450 mm: The centre point has an overall length of 514±1 mm.
Main features and advantages
- 1/2 UNC thread: The centre point is screwed into the drive spindle of the core drill and provides a secure connection for the drilling process.
- Easy handling: Before drilling starts, the centre point is inserted into the holder without tools. As soon as a guide circle has formed, the centre point can be removed easily and without additional tools.
- Efficient spot drilling: The spot drilling process is carried out by briefly and forcefully pressing the diamond core bit against the surface. As soon as the guide circle is in place, the centre point is removed so that the actual drilling process can continue.
The centre point only remains in the drill during drilling. As soon as the guide circle has been created, the centre point is simply removed to allow unhindered access for the water supply or dust extraction.
