PREMIUM diamond core bit - length 450 mm - for wet drilling
Our laser-welded diamond core bits in PREMIUM quality are ideal for drilling in concrete, reinforced concrete, masonry and brick. They are available as standard in diameters from 16 mm to 500 mm and a working length of 450 mm.
The diamond core bit is fitted with high-quality PREMIUM segments, which ensure effective and precise processing.
Advantages of laser welding
The diamond segments are welded onto the core bit using a laser. This technology enables a precise and strong connection that can withstand the high loads during the drilling process. Compared to conventional soldering processes, laser welding offers greater strength and durability. This makes these drill bits particularly suitable for drilling mixed masonry, concrete, reinforced concrete and bricks. Our drill bit segments with high-quality diamond coating and even grain distribution ensure faster work progress.
The performance of the laser-welded segments depends on their composition and not their shape. The composition consists of a combination of different materials.
Important for wet drilling
Drilling using the wet process is one way of carrying out core drilling. This not only extends the service life of the tool, but also enables faster drilling. To achieve maximum efficiency, the water should be constantly supplied at low pressure.
Cooling
The core bits generate considerable friction and heat during the drilling process. The water acts as a coolant and lubricant to control the temperature and prevent the tool from overheating. An overheated drill bit could impair its cutting properties and durability.
Removal of drilling dust
The water also helps to flush the drilling dust out of the drill hole. This keeps the drill bit free of debris, which increases the efficiency and speed of the drilling process.
Reduction of dust and pollutants
Drilling with water minimises the generation of dust and makes the working environment safer and healthier. This is particularly important as dust particles are released that can be harmful to health.

Our diamond core bits are not suitable for use with impact drills. Therefore, please only use our diamond core bits with suitable core drills without soft impact function. You can of course also find these in our shop.
